Vince SanFilippo has been an active player in Chicago’s vibrant music scene for more than 30 years. He is known as a vocalist and guitarist steeped in the history of Rock n’ Roll; a tireless supporter of the city’s underground scene; a Chicago Reader-nominated “Best Venue Bartender” and is perhaps best-known as the leader of The Artist Formally Known as Vince Band, or “TAFKAVince Band” for the sake of brevity.
For many years, he has been more focused on performing in full band Rock N Roll mode than as a solo singer-songwriter but it is time again for both sides to share the spotlight. While continuing to book TAFKAVince Band shows, he is about to release his new solo EP, From The Windows of the Train. New, re-imagined versions of older songs that have never been recorded. The songs have been played live as duets with band mate Lauren, and solo. For this, the approach was with a studio mentality of giving them more atmosphere and not playing them as simple acoustic guitar/voice arrangements. Locked up in his studio, Vince produced, recorded and mixed the EP ad well as played all instruments on the track (guitar, bass, keyboards, shaker, harmonica, all vocals). Vince also shot and edited a video for Strings of their Fate

Hailing from upstate New York, Brule County Bad Boys are a five-piece outlaw country outfit blending honky-tonk grit, Americana soul, and barroom rock & roll. Born from the raw storytelling of frontman Josh Coletto—who turned a trunk full of weed and a South Dakota jail cell into a catalyst for songwriting—the band has been delivering hard-charging, heartfelt music since 2018.
Their third full-length album, Burden Lake (Cold as Life), was just released. The record expands on our earlier work with heavier themes—community fracture, corporate decay, and the fight to keep meaning alive—while staying rooted in loud, stripped-down country built to hit hard live. The Bad Boys are carving out a sound that’s both timeless and fiercely local—drawing from influences like Drive-By Truckers, Uncle Tupelo, Waylon Jennings, and Neil Young. Loud, loose, and uncompromising, Brule County Bad Boys are keeping real country dangerous.
Brule County Bad Boys are a five-piece country band from upstate New York. Their sound sits between honky-tonk, Americana, and loud barroom rock & roll, pulling from artists like Waylon Jennings, Drive-By Truckers, Uncle Tupelo, and Neil Young. The songs lean direct and unsentimental. built to work live based on, without much interest in polish or trend-chasing.
The band is led by songwriter Josh Coletto, whose writing focuses on place, memory, and the slow unraveling of working communities. A short but formative stint in a dirty South Dakota jail sharpened that perspective, pushing the songs away from myth and toward observation. The band backs that approach with twang-forward guitars, lively fiddle, steady rhythm, and arrangements that leave space for the stories to carry the weight.
Their third full-length album, Burden Lake (Cold as Life), reflects where the band is now. The record moves into heavier subject matter—community fracture, corporate pressure, and what gets lost along the way—while staying rooted in stripped-down country meant to be played loud and direct. It’s less about looking back and more about taking stock.
We’re an experienced, road-ready band and put a lot of focus on delivering a raw, high-impact live show that connects quickly with a room.
